Job Title: Manager - Corporate Credit Analyst

The Job Description:

  • We are seeking a skilled Corporate Credit Analyst to join our team in Mumbai.
  • The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in fundamental corporate analysis gained in either a bank or an asset manager environment.
  • The role involves managing a portfolio of EMEA corporate clients and undertaking objective detailed due diligence of borrowers/industry.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of EMEA Corporate clients and undertake objective detailed due diligence of borrowers/industry.
  • Managing end-to-end annual renewal of limits and borrower ratings as per the banks' credit processes and procedures collaborating with other stakeholders (Relationship Managers, Product teams, and Credit Officers/Approvers).
  • Covenant checks and periodic monitoring reports.
  • Preparation of periodic sector reports and event-based stress tests of the portfolio as necessary.
  • Support Relationship Managers/Senior Credit Analysts in the department on ad-hoc requests related to new transactions or other portfolio reviews.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in fundamental corporate analysis gained in either a bank or an asset manager environment.
  • Minimum experience of 7-8 years after Post Graduation (CA/CFA/MBA Finance or their equivalents)
  • Familiarity with Bloomberg/CapIQ and similar systems.
