Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Leader to join our team as a Credit Risk Manager.

About the Role:

  • Oversee and strategize the end-to-end credit underwriting process for personal loans through digital channels.
  • Develop solutions for credit underwriting based on different product constructs, collaborating with Data Science teams to analyze models and identify areas for improvement.
  • Establish performance benchmarks and determine courses of action in case of breaches, automating Credit Policies to minimize manual intervention in assessing creditworthiness.
  • Determine right pricing basis segmentation and standardize policies and processes.
  • Monitor portfolio profitability, funnel metrics, and risk thresholds.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze portfolios, recommend policy changes to Policy heads based on analysis outcomes.
  2. Conduct periodic credit reviews, identify high-risk segments, and take corrective actions.
  3. Monitor delinquent accounts to ensure company standards are met.
  4. Identify technological solutions to improve processes and overall portfolio management functions.
  5. Analyze various Management Information Systems (MIS) to monitor portfolio performance and risk.

Key Skills:

  • Postgraduate in Finance/Statistics/Management from reputable institutes required.
  • BTech with MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years experience, 3-4 years in risk management and policy creation required.
  • Fair understanding of risk performance essential.
  • Excellent communication skills required.
  • Superior stakeholder management skills to work closely with internal functions and external stakeholders.
  • Hands-on experience working with large datasets using data processing and statistical tools required.
  • Data-driven, analytical approach, and team player qualities essential.

Requirements:

  • Proficient in - Data Analytics, Model Validation, Policy Formulation, Portfolio Management, Stake Holder Management, Project Management.
  • Experience in R/Python, SQL, Advanced Excel, etc. demonstrated.
