Role Overview

As a seasoned credit professional, you will lead the development and implementation of our credit risk management strategies.

The successful candidate will be responsible for defining, monitoring, and refining our lending policies and processes to ensure portfolio quality and mitigate risk.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with business stakeholders to ensure aligned growth objectives and prudent credit practices.
  • Developing and implementing comprehensive credit frameworks and underwriting guidelines to drive informed decision-making.
  • Overseeing portfolio performance, identifying areas for improvement, and driving initiatives to enhance credit quality.
  • Presenting credit proposals and portfolio updates to senior management and regulatory bodies as required.
  • Mentoring and developing a high-performing credit team capable of handling scale and complexity.

Requirements:

  • 8–15 years of experience in credit risk/underwriting, preferably in a financial services or fintech environment.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain finance, invoice financing, and related credit products.
  • Proven ability to develop credit frameworks from scratch and manage large loan books with quality.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory norms and compliance requirements.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • CA/MBA/FRM or equivalent qualification preferred.
