Senior Digital Marketing Specialist Job Summary

The role of a Senior Digital Marketing Specialist is designed for seasoned digital marketing professionals with expertise in advanced campaign management, daily reporting, and optimisation.

This senior-level position requires the successful candidate to take ownership of campaign performance, drive results through data-driven strategies, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure effective execution.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Optimising ad campaigns based on performance data to improve efficiency and ROI.
  • Prioritising ad copy creation and optimisation based on ongoing performance tests and data analysis.
  • Reviewing and approving new campaign setups to ensure strategic alignment and accuracy.
  • Managing campaign budgets and making necessary adjustments to maximise performance.
  • Oversight of complex ad campaigns, optimising strategies for improved performance and higher returns.
  • A/B testing ad copy and providing recommendations to enhance effectiveness.
  • Developing detailed keyword segments to improve targeting and campaign relevance.
  • Assisting with the creation and organisation of ad copy, ensuring alignment with campaign goals.
  • Implementing advanced techniques to oversee and optimise daily campaign performance.
  • Conducting weekly reviews of campaign performance, making strategic adjustments as needed.
  • Ensuring seamless transitions during client exits, preparing final reports and handling data handover.
  • Oversight of performance tracking using tools like Google Analytics, ensuring accurate data collection and reporting to inform future strategies.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for day-to-day client communication.
  • Scheduling and conducting regular check-ins, reviews, and feedback meetings with clients.
  • Escalating concerns or red flags to the Department Head promptly.
  • Maintaining detailed documentation of all communications and feedback.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in managing digital ad campaigns, particularly on platforms like Google Ads, Facebook Ads, etc.
  • Strong analytical skills to derive insights from campaign performance data and suggest effective optimisations.
  • Experience with ad copy creation, prioritisation, and A/B testing for performance improvement.
  • Ability to develop and manage multiple campaign budgets, making real-time adjustments as necessary.
  • Expertise in creating and managing detailed keyword segments for highly targeted campaigns.
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics and other performance tracking tools for accurate data analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to think strategically, aligning campaign setups, optimisations, and adjustments with broader business goals.
  • Strong client management skills, especially in ensuring smooth communication and exit processes.
  • Ability to ensure high levels of accuracy in reporting, tracking, and campaign setup.
  • Bachelor's degree in any related field.
