Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Sales Manager to join our sales team. As a key member, you will play a pivotal role in promoting our Shield IoT application for remote monitoring of utilities (energy, water, Genset, HAVC, AHU, busbar temperature, and APFC panels) to defined industry segments.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and nurture robust relationships with key clients, analyzing their business objectives and challenges to effectively communicate our solutions.
  • Lead Generation: Proactively identify and cultivate new business opportunities within target sectors, expanding our client base and implementing effective lead generation strategies.
  • Product Knowledge: Showcase a profound understanding of our product, articulating its value propositions convincingly to clients and staying abreast of industry developments.
  • Negotiation and Closing: Lead negotiations and effectively close deals with clients, skillfully navigating discussions to secure mutually advantageous agreements.
  • Collaboration: Foster seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams to align strategies and exceed client expectations.

You will be responsible for generating business with defined market segments and holding ownership for the complete sales cycle.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales and account management, especially in the manufacturing units, industries, buildings, metal & cement, retail, hospitals, food & beverages, PSU, and data centers sectors.
  • Knowledge and experience in selling SCADA, DCS, and energy management applications with IoT ecosystems will be an added advantage.
  • A strong understanding of edge industrial IoT gateways, field devices, interfaces, sensors, and industry protocols, power systems, and automation ecosystems, as well as SaaS and software implementation processes.
  • Experience with process-driven organizations and hands-on experience with CRM tools.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Data-driven and proficient in using/developing customer success metrics.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants should have:

  • Sale experience in Energy/Power/Industry Automation companies.
  • Domain knowledge from Power & Energy/Industry automation sector is a must.
  • Hands-on/selling experience with any of the Energy management solution/Industry SCADA or DCS systems.
  • Qualification from Engineering background (Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation). Business management would be an added advantage.
  • Minimum experience of 5+ years.
Salary

The estimated annual salary for this role is ₹20-25 lakhs (approximately $26,000-$33,000 USD), depending on qualifications and experience.
