Strategic Key Account Sales Director

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Key Account Sales Director to lead our key account sales efforts in the QSR industry. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned sales professional to drive business growth and build strong relationships with key customers.
About the Role:
The Strategic Key Account Sales Director will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to achieve annual operating business and margin plans for key accounts. This includes acquiring new key accounts, building thought leadership, and delivering solutions to drive business growth.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering annual operating business and margin plans for key account channels
- Acquiring newer key accounts in different categories
- Building thought leadership through proactive approach by developing concepts around it basis company capability and delivering solutions
- Studying accounts and suggesting management new avenues of businesses/product categories that are differentiated and have high growth potentials
- Managing and developing relationships with customers' key stakeholders
- Handling high-value projects with key customers
BUSINESS OPERATIONS & MANAGEMENT:
The Strategic Key Account Sales Director will also be responsible for liaising with KA teams on delivery mechanisms and credit understanding. They will need to collate monthly reports of account progress with the help of KA team members and report to management.
Additionally, they will be responsible for:
- Analyzing annual contract closure with accounts at largest share of business basis budgeted volumes and contribution margins
- Communicating with local teams for execution
- Ensuring new products introduced in an account during the year are as per targeted margins
- Maintaining high service levels with Demand Planning, Supply Chain, and Plant Teams through interdepartmental alignment
COMMERCIAL & COMPLAINT HANDLING:
The Strategic Key Account Sales Director will be responsible for negotiating, discussing, and closing sales contracts and agreements with the help of relevant team members.
They will also need to maintain commercial hygiene across all accounts and handle complaints effectively by taking them up with Quality Team at pace and delivering CAPA well within time.
