Role Overview

Piramal Finance is seeking a dynamic and strategic Lead – Learning & Development (L&D) to drive our corporate learning agenda, with a strong focus on technical and business intelligence (BIU) teams. This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and delivering impactful learning experiences that build future-ready capabilities, foster leadership development, and support talent management initiatives across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Learning Strategy & Design

- Own and manage the end-to-end learning journey for corporate functions, especially Tech and BIU teams (70–80%).
- Design structured learning roadmaps for new and existing employees, starting from Campus Induction through advanced development.
- Conceptualize and deliver multi-format learning programs including 4-day foundational learning, data science basics, and technical refresher courses.

Program Development & Delivery

- Spearhead high-impact programs such as:
- GET Program – Metamorph (Year 1 foundational and Year 2 advanced tracks)
- Engineering Projects and the Piramal Learning Festival
- Central-level cross-functional learning projects
- Facilitate and deliver sessions based on adult learning principles and latest learning theories.

Leadership & Talent Development

- Drive leadership development initiatives and succession planning in collaboration with HR and business stakeholders.
- Support Talent Management by assessing potential employees and designing personalized learning journeys.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to deploy negotiation skills programs, Scrum Master trainings, and other corporate learning needs.

Digital & Operational Excellence

- Leverage Piramal Learning University (PLU) for digital learning deployment and innovation.
- Ensure effective module push and consumption management, with a focus on engagement and ROI.
- Overcome operational challenges by streamlining program logistics, stakeholder communication, and learning effectiveness.

Key Qualifications & Skills

- 7–12 years of experience in Learning & Development, preferably within a corporate or BFSI setup.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale, cross-functional learning initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of L&D frameworks, digital learning tools, and assessment methodologies.
- Exposure to technical learning programs, BIU functions, and leadership development.
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Certification in Instructional Design, Learning Technologies, or Talent Development is an added advantage.
