partner to cargo stakeholders Profile Summary Incumbent will be responsible for planning strategizing implementing and executing overall sales for the assigned region in India Overseeing and driving existing sales projects and business development of new customer base in freight forwarding logistic industry Maintaining balance between individual profit center and regional P L Playing a key role as a brand ambassador of the company Identifying business growth opportunities from existing and new logos and achieving revenue targets for self and region Targets attached to minimum 3 5 times for self and sales team reporting to RSM Essential Job Responsibilities 1Own and hit exceed annual sales targets of the region and accounts 2Develop new regional market and expand sales organizations in accordance with strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base 3Identification of opportunities where BDP s products service solutions can add value and drive efficiencies within customers supply chain demands 4Understand category-vertical and product specific landscapes and trends and achieving minimum new sales ROI target of 4x of the overall sales cost 5Build and maintain strong long-lasting customer relationships Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations 6Focused approach to sell all product lines across verticals not restricting to Ocean Air freight forwarding but leveraging on companies in house product strengths like Customs clearance Contract Logistics Port Solutions CFS Trade compliance LLP Multimodal solutions Surface transport 7Presenting monthly regional dashboard of new wins opportunities P L key highlights to PSA BDP management function 8Ensure all sales opportunities wins and events are updated in the salesforce tool Maintain salesforce CRM tool to monitor team s sales opportunities win lost ratio 9Adhere to companies FCPA policies and guideline while on boarding any new business Ensuring that all sales activities comply with government norms as per industry and company policies 10Overseeing need development and implementation of various modules effectively at regional level as per requirement Oversee the planning and execution of volumes for the center with focus on individual productivity and capacity monitoring at the micro individual and center macro 11Ensure that proper methods techniques are used to achieve the highest levels of quality and service to meet client goals and expectations All tasks associated with the sales and business development including vendor management supervision of assignments collating weekly reports mentoring staff 12Monitoring industry trends market conditions and competitor activities 13Ensures service measures are met in accordance within specified Turn Around Time TAT Job Qualifications Education Graduation in any discipline with full time 2 years MBA or equivalent in Sales Marketing or equivalent Incumbent with post-graduation in Supply Chain Management disciplines shall be preferred Experience 10 plus years of experience in Sales and Business development in Logistic Industry Person should have exposure of team handling of minimum 3-4 Managers Senior Managers with the capacity of handling a particular region of any part of India Demonstrate ability to successfully process all work types and specialties for any PSA BDP Accounts Knowledge Skills Result oriented and target driven professional Strong problem-solving and out of box thinking skills Adaptability and go getter attitude Good Interpersonal skills and Good Analytical bent of mind Good communication and Presentation skills Good knowledge of MS Office Working Conditions Ready to travel across locations as and when required Physical Demands
