We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Business Development Manager to lead our growth initiatives in the building materials sector. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in business development, project sales, and builder connections, while leveraging a deep understanding of construction materials, project lifecycles, and stakeholder management. This role demands a proven track record of driving sales growth, building strategic relationships, and developing new market opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

- Business Development & Sales Growth

- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across building material categories, focusing on large-scale projects, builders, and developers.
- Drive revenue growth by implementing effective sales strategies tailored to construction and infrastructure sectors.
- Conduct thorough market analysis to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and customer demands.

- Project Sales & Builder Engagement

- Manage end-to-end project sales cycles, from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with builders, contractors, architects, consultants, and key decision-makers in the construction ecosystem.
- Provide technical and commercial support to clients during project execution stages.

- Client Relationship Management

- Build long-term partnerships by delivering consistent value and superior service.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their requirements and offering tailored building material solutions.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction levels, leading to repeat business and referrals.

- Strategic Planning & Market Penetration

- Collaborate with senior leadership to design and execute sales plans for new geographies, product lines, and market segments.
- Develop strategies to enhance brand visibility, market positioning, and competitive advantage within the building materials domain.
- Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and trade shows to expand networks and business opportunities.

- Mentor and guide junior sales teams in developing builder connect strategies and achieving sales targets.
- Work closely with marketing, operations, and product development teams to align business goals with customer needs.
- Ensure seamless coordination between internal and external stakeholders for project success.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 10–18 years of experience in business development, project sales, or related roles within building materials/construction industry.
- Proven track record of working with builders, developers, and contractors in high-value projects.
- Experience in handling regional or national-level sales portfolios will be an added advantage.
