**Experience** : 2+yrs (Event & management Experience)As a Business Development Manager in our event management company, this role will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth through the acquisition of new clients and accounts. Leveraging the expertise in the event industry and the network of contacts, BDM will lead the company’s efforts to expand its client base, increase market share, and achieve sales targets. This role will involve building relationships with prospects, understanding their event needs, and presenting tailored solutions to meet their objectives. Additionally, will collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless execution and exceptional service delivery to clients.
**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Identify and research prospective clients and market segments, and develop targeted strategies to penetrate new markets and acquire new business opportunities.
2. Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders within target industries and organizations, and establish the company as a preferred event management partner.
4. Collaborate with the creative and operations teams to develop customized event proposals, presentations, and pitches that address client needs, showcase the company’s capabilities, and differentiate our services from competitors.
5. Coordinate with marketing and communications teams to develop promotional materials, case studies, testimonials, and other collateral to support sales efforts and enhance brand visibility
6. Collaborate with internal teams, including event planners, coordinators, and operations staff, to ensure seamless handover of accounts and successful execution of events for new clients.
**Qualifications**:
1. Master’s degree in event management, marketing, or a related field.
2. Proven experience working as a business development manager, sales manager, or in a similar role in the event management industry.
3. Strong understanding of the event industry, with the ability to build rapport, influence decision-makers, and negotiate effectively.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, vendors, and team members and negotiate contracts and agreements.
5. Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities and overcoming challenges.
6. Results-oriented mindset, with a focus on achieving sales targets, meeting deadlines, and delivering exceptional customer service.
7. Flexibility to travel as needed for client meetings, industry events, and business development activities.
