Overview:
As a Front Office Guest Service Assistant, you will serve as the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional service and creating positive experiences from the moment they arrive. Your role is crucial in ensuring smooth operations at the front desk, handling guest inquiries, reservations, and check-ins with professionalism and efficiency. You will represent the establishment's brand and uphold its standards of hospitality, making guests feel welcome and valued throughout their stay.

**Responsibilities**:

- Guest Reception: Warmly greet guests upon arrival, assist with check-ins, and provide personalized attention to ensure a smooth and pleasant arrival experience.
- Guest Services: Handle guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and courteously, striving to exceed their expectations and enhance their overall stay.
- Reservations: Manage room reservations, process bookings, modifications, and cancellations accurately using the property management system (PMS) or reservation software.
- Check-in/Check-out: Efficiently process guest check-ins and check-outs, verify guest information, issue room keys, and collect payments following established procedures.
- Information Desk: Serve as a knowledgeable resource for guests, providing information about hotel facilities, services, local attractions, dining options, transportation, and other relevant information.
- Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with other departments, ensuring seamless coordination and timely resolution of guest-related issues or requests.
- Cash Handling: Handle cash, credit card transactions, and other forms of payment accurately and securely, reconciling transactions at the end of each shift.
- Safety and Security: Follow established safety and security protocols to ensure the well-being of guests and the security of their belongings, including monitoring guest access and reporting any suspicious activities or incidents.
- Problem-solving: Address guest complaints or issues promptly and professionally, finding appropriate solutions and escalating unresolved matters to management as needed.

Qualifications:

- Customer Service Skills: Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor, a genuine desire to assist guests, and the ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling guest information, reservations, and transactions.
- Multitasking: Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism and efficiency.
- Problem-solving: Effective problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve guest issues independently or escalate them to management when necessary.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate the needs of the business and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Team Player: Collaborative attitude and willingness to work as part of a team to achieve common goals and deliver exceptional service.
- Professionalism: Maintain a neat and professional appearance, adhere to company policies and procedures, and uphold standards of guest service and hospitality.
