Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team in Delhi, India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development within the higher education sector, particularly with experience working with education agents. Additionally, familiarity with the France education and Immigration system. Limited working proficiency in French is essential for this role.
Responsibilities:
Business Development:
- Develop and implement strategic business development plans to expand our presence in the education market.
- Identify and forge partnerships with education agents, institutions, to drive student enrolment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential agents to promote UAP’s services and offerings.
- Explore new avenues for business growth and expansion within the education sector.
- Acquire in-depth knowledge of the France education system and admission processes of universities to effectively advise students on study abroad options.
Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competition within the France education market.
- Gather insights on student preferences, academic programs, and industry developments to inform business strategies and decision-making.
- Stay updated on changes in education policies, regulations, and visa requirements that may impact student recruitment.
Agent Management:
- Act as a primary point of contact for education agents, and students, addressing their inquiries and providing support as needed.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of services to the agents and students.
- Monitor client satisfaction and feedback, proactively addressing any issues or concerns to maintain strong relationships.
Promotional Activities:
- Plan and execute promotional activities, events, and marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and attract prospective students.
- Represent UAP at conferences, seminars, and networking events to expand our network and visibility within the education sector.
- Prepare marketing materials, presentations, and proposals to showcase our services and value proposition to potential clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Education, or a related field required; master's degree preferred.
- Proven 3 years of experience in business development within the education sector, with a focus on working with education agents.
- In-depth knowledge of the France education market, including academic programs, institutions, and student recruitment trends.
- Limited working proficiency or Intermediate reading and writing skills in French is preferred.
- Open to travelling and visiting channel partners throughout the recruitment cycle.
- Strong negotiation, networking, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with a proactive and results oriented.
