Job Description:We are looking for sales professional with 5 to 10 years of experience in distribution sales, business development, technical sales in Specialty chemicals preferably Pulp/paper/textile/ viscose/ water treatment to join our team of ChangemakersExecution of sales strategy within Indian sub-continent region, and play key role to development of the SEA tactical market plansMange and expand the distribution network in India and SEA regionBusiness Development of key end segments – Pulp/Paper, Textile, Viscose, Mining, Lubes & Fuels, Oilfield & Water treatmentFoster and build business relationships with potential & existing customers, distributors, and all appropriate business channels.Enhancing customer experience.Value selling, Margin Management, Demand planning and managing sales via the business modelsCoordinate internal interface between Customer Service, Technical Service and the regional/global Sales and Marketing Team.Developing and maintaining relationships with key accounts and leveraging internal & external relationships at these accountsEnsures that all Sales & Marketing activities are in strict compliance with Nouryon ’s Business and Anti-Competition Principles.Competitive Market Intelligence and watch Market development
About the job (Job Responsibilities):Leading the sales activities to protect, defend existing business and identify/commercialize new business opportunities via direct and indirect channels (distribution management) (30%)Managing the project pipeline and increasing the fill for the sustainability of the business (30%)Value selling, margin management to optimize profitability in the end segments (20%)Maintaining accurate demand forecast and pricing in the systems (10%)Gaining valuable market intelligence (5%)Managing key internal and external stake holders and position business for growth (5%)We are looking for team members who bring ideas forward, champion others and work together to do better. We believe you bring (Education & Experience)Education - Minimum B. Tech in Chemical/Polymer Technology/ Engineering, M.Sc. Organic Chemistry. Sales and Marketing/Management post-graduation education is an advantageExperience - 5 to 10 years’ experience of sales/ marketing/ business development /technical sales in specialty chemicals preferably in Pulp/Paper, Textile, water treatment, viscose .Experience in CMC Chemistry; Alkoxylation, Chelates chemistry and application among others
Great if you have:Distribution management experienceExperience in growth of the relevant end application/product portfolio/segment.
