As they continue to expand their operations, they are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Human Resources (HR) to lead their HR function and drive strategic people initiatives.


Location: Mumbai, India


Role and Responsibilities:

  • Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's overall objectives to support business growth and employee engagement.
  • Talent Acquisition and Management: Lead the recruitment and selection process to attract top talent, and implement effective onboarding and retention strategies.
  • Performance Management: Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and talent development plans.
  • Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted advisor to management and employees on HR-related matters, ensuring a positive work environment and resolving conflicts effectively.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Develop and administer competitive compensation and benefits programs to attract, retain, and motivate employees.
  • Learning and Development: Identify training and development needs, and design and implement programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities.
  • HR Policy and Compliance: Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with local laws and regulations, and ensure adherence to ethical and legal standards.
  • HR Analytics: Utilize HR analytics and metrics to track and analyze key HR indicators, and provide data-driven insights to support decision-making.
  • Change Management: Lead change management initiatives and support organizational restructuring and transformation projects.
  • Employee Engagement: Foster a culture of engagement, inclusion, and diversity, and develop initiatives to enhance employee morale and motivation.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 10-12 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations in India.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Proven track record of driving HR initiatives that support business objectives and enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
