Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our
team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities,
developing strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth for our company. This role
requires a strong understanding of the event industry, excellent communication skills, and a
proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and
networking.
3. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand our
client base.
4. Collaborate with business & CS teams to create compelling sales materials, proposals,
and presentations tailored to the needs of prospective clients.
5. Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activity, and opportunities for
innovation.
6. Negotiate contracts with support to the business team.
7. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to provide
innovative solutions to clients.
8. Track and analyse sales performance metrics, prepare regular reports, and provide
recommendations for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
2. Proven track record of success in business development or sales within the event
industry.
3. Strong understanding of event planning processes, industry trends, and competitive
landscape.
4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
5. Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
6. Results-driven with a passion for exceeding targets and delivering exceptional customer
service.
7. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
