Business Development Manager

Reports To: VP - Sales & Marketing
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager with 3-5 years of experience to join our HW product development & Engineering Services team. The ideal candidate will drive business growth by identifying new opportunities, developing relationships with potential clients, and expanding our market presence. This role requires a deep understanding of the embedded software, electrical & electronics industry, excellent communication skills, and a strategic mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify New Opportunities: Find and target new business opportunities in engineering services, internationally.
Cold outreach: Establish a scope to process to segment, scope, target and convert via cold outreach on LinkedIn or calls.
Build and Maintain Relationships: Develop and sustain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
Prepare and Present Proposals: Create and deliver compelling proposals and pitches to potential clients.
Negotiate and Close Deals: Negotiate contracts and secure agreements to achieve sales targets.
Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with engineering, Electronics hardware product development, and marketing teams to align strategies and execute business plans.
CRM management: Manage all sales activities, opportunities, and account information in CRM
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (with Electronics), or a related field (with MBA is a plus.)
3-5 years of proven experience in B2B business development, sales, or a related role in the engineering services industry / Product Development.
Strong understanding of electrical, electronics and embedded software technologies and market dynamics.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships.
Strategic thinker with a results-driven approach.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in international business development.
Familiarity with the latest trends and advancements in engineering services
Ability to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
