- Knowledge of different variety of Pastry, Brownie, Bread, Chocolate, Bakery- The assistant chef is responsible for planning and directing food preparation in a kitchen standard recipes and procedure- Keeping an eye out for problems that arise in the kitchen and seizing control of a situation at a moments notice.- Ensure of safety and hygiene procedures being adhered to.- Indenting raw materials as per the production and requirement.- Checking the quality of received perishables.- Interacting with guest incase of some allergies or food complaints.- Food cost and wastage control.- Liaison between the junior staff and the Executive chef.

- Ensuring food standards, preparation, presentation and cooking techniques meet our standard guidelines.- Strive continually for innovative, quality, value for money food which is presented and served in the most complimentary way.- Ensure the highest possible standard of hygiene is practiced and maintained by the entire kitchen brigade to meet Health & Safety regulations and food preparation guidelines
