We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Sales Manager for the West Region to drive the sales and business development of primary packaging machines such as Vertical Form Fill Seal (VFFS) and Horizontal Form Fill Seal (HFFS) systems. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of packaging machinery and its applications, a strong technical background, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets in a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Planning : Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve regional sales targets. Identify new business opportunities, expand the customer base, and maintain long-term client relationships. Provide market intelligence and insights to management on trends, competitor activities, and customer needs. Customer Relationship Management : Build strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and offer tailored packaging solutions. Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and technical discussions to ensure customer satisfaction. Product Expertise : Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of VFFS and HFFS machines, their applications, and benefits. Provide technical guidance to customers in selecting appropriate packaging machinery. Liaise with the engineering and technical teams to customize solutions based on customer requirements. Sales Process Management : Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure. Negotiate and finalize contracts, ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction. Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely delivery and installation of machinery. Team Leadership & Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, engineering, and after-sales service teams to ensure seamless customer experiences. Mentor and guide junior sales personnel in the region. Reporting & Forecasting : Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and reports for the management team. Track sales performance and provide updates on key metrics and achievements.Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering. 7-12 years of experience in sales of primary packaging machines, specifically VFFS and HFFS systems. Strong understanding of packaging machinery applications in industries like FMCG, pharmaceuticals, food & beverage, and others. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets. Willingness to travel extensively within the West Region.Preferred Skills:
Prior experience in managing sales in the West Region. Strong network and customer base in industries that utilize primary packaging machines. Technical proficiency with packaging machinery, including troubleshooting and problem-solving.Compensation:
