Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our customer base in the West region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to promote new products and cross-sell, close deals, and grow sales.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with distributors, collaborating on prospect development, customer management, and staff competency development.
  • Manage pipeline growth, forecasting, activity reporting, and stage maturation using Salesforce.
  • Implement a business plan for managing assigned territory annually, developing the teams' capabilities.
  • Support marketing programs in the territory as assigned.
Requirements
  • Masters in Life Science stream/Biotechnology with 12 to 15 years of relevant industrial exposure.
  • Prior experience and sound understanding of workflows in DNA sequencing, RT PCR, microarray, and NGS and ancillary procedures.
  • Must be willing to improve knowledge base, including product information and other relevant scientific knowledge.
  • Willingness to travel.
