Regional Business Development Manager, West

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Foster collaboration across vital departments to ensure seamless sales processes and customer satisfaction.
  2. Drive sales activities, generate leads, and close opportunities in the region to exceed revenue goals.
  3. Develop and implement annual business plans for managing assigned territories, enhancing team capabilities.
  4. Support marketing programs in the territory as assigned.
  5. Maintain relationships with existing customers to promote new products, close deals, and grow sales.
  6. Develop a deep understanding of driven products' features and benefits.
  7. Contribute to the development of a working knowledge of the assigned region.
  8. Leverage expertise in SFDC to create insightful account reports and accurate forecasting.
  9. Manage pipeline growth, forecasting, activity reporting, and stage maturation using SFDC.
  10. Requirements and Qualifications:

    1. Masters in Life Science/Biotechnology with 12-15 years of relevant industry experience.
    2. Prior experience with workflows in DNA sequencing, RT PCR, microarray, NGS, and ancillary procedures.
    3. Willingness to improve knowledge base and travel.
