Job Description: Senior business development executive
What are we looking?
We are seeking a talented and driven Senior business development executive to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and business development, with a focus on the IT industry. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with key stakeholders, and driving revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the IT sector, including software development, IT consulting, and managed services.
Build and maintain relationships with prospective clients through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand client requirements and propose tailored solutions.
Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and technical support, to develop comprehensive proposals and presentations.
Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes.
Track and report on sales performance metrics, including pipeline activity, revenue forecasts, and win/loss ratios.
Stay up to date on industry trends and competitive landscape to inform sales strategies and positioning.
Have a good understanding of bidding on platforms like Upwork to secure relevant projects and opportunities for the company.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field.
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in the IT industry.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with clients.
Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
