Purpose:
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate, sales focused research leader with experience working with clients in the B2B space spanning both Tech and Non-Tech clients.Kantar is looking to expand its footprint of B2B research in Asia Pacific and this role will be a key role in helping grow the B2B business for Kantar in Asia Pacific.
The role is a business development role designed to help the growth of the APAC B2B business focusing first on clients in the APAC region leveraging on the expertise of Kantar’s B2B Center of Excellence.
This role would report to the APAC Business Development Head for Kantar’s B2B practice managing both inbound and outbound business opportunities for the B2B team.
The role would have an opportunity to help define the future and growth of Kantar’s B2B business in the region while developing advanced knowledge of research and sales in the B2B space. AS this is a regional role, this person would also be able to experience working with different markets in APAC both internally and externally.
This person would be responsible for delivering monthly, quarterly and annual business targets. The individual should be adept at writing impactful proposals and presenting them to clients.
Responsibilities:-
The potential candidate must demonstrate the following:
Proven business development and consultative selling capability
Interact with senior stakeholder in client organizations
Ensure timely delivery of quality proposals for all inbound and outbound opportunities
Sufficient research experience to be able to answer all inbound queries for B2B in the region
Work with the client service teams to ensure client satisfaction and delivery to proposed specifications on projects from end-to-end
Capabilities:
At least 8 years of research or consultancy experience
Must have experience working with other markets across APAC to be able to understand different market nuances
Experience working in the B2B space is an added bonus
Must possess responsibility of business development or client servicing in a multi-client set up
Strong organizational and project management skills to ensure timely delivery of quality proposals
Strong communication skills to be able to gather requirements clearly from clients and communicate those requirements clearly to the servicing teams
Positive, go getter attitude.
Bring forth an entrepreneurial mindset
Able to build strong relationships with clients
Able to work well with internal teams to ensure quality proposals and projects are delivered
Have a track record for meeting and exceeding business goals consistently
Should be open to traveling across the region
