We are looking for a
Senior Delegate Sales Executive
to work on booking qualified delegates for our events. It is a paid event so you will be required to sell paid passes. The delegates attending will be C-suite executives, heads of departments, and VIPs. You will be responsible for creating and implementing strategies to acquire a diverse and influential pool of delegates. Your efforts will be instrumental in ensuring our events attract thought leaders, industry experts, key stakeholders, and decision-makers.
Roles and responsibilities
Making outbound calls to contact potential delegates who are senior decision makers to talk them through the upcoming event agenda, sell the event ticket/s, and confirm their invitations.Update CRM records with call and email interactions, and follow-up contact.Achieve target delegate numbers for the eventCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless registration process and a positive delegate experienceIdentifying and researching potential delegates based on event topics, industry trends, and targeted demographicsDeveloping and executing targeted delegate acquisition strategies tailored to each eventIdentifying and researching potential delegates based on event topics, industry trends, and targeted demographicsCreate compelling outreach campaigns to attract senior stakeholders, including email, social media, and direct communication
Requirements
Must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent education.Minimum of 2 years of sales experience, preferably in B2B events, conferences, or trade shows.Must have experience in selling paid passes (between the value of $500 - $1500 each).Worked on events with a minimum of 500 attendees.Ability to navigate your way through switchboards/gatekeepers and get through to the right individual.Must have excellent telephone etiquette.Excellent objection-handling experience.Experience with CRM systems.Excellent creative thinking and problem-solving skills to tailor outreach strategies for different events and delegate segments.Consultative sales approach to build relationships and rapport, rather than reading scripts.
