Job Title: Freelance Business Development ManagerJob Summary:

Rayon Capital is seeking a skilled Freelance Business Development Manager to spearhead the acquisition of delegates, nomination awardees, and sponsorships for our trade delegation to Seychelles. As a dynamic and results-oriented professional, you will identify and engage potential candidates worldwide, contributing to the success of this prestigious event.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delegate Acquisition: Utilize effective networking, cold calling, and email outreach strategies to build a strong pipeline of qualified delegates from diverse industries and regions worldwide.
  • Nomination Award Acquisition: Identify deserving individuals or organizations for the Global Icon Recognition Award and engage with potential nominees to secure their participation.
  • Sponsorship Acquisition: Source and engage potential sponsors interested in supporting the trade delegation, developing compelling sponsorship packages and negotiating favourable terms to maximize revenue generation.
  • Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with acquired delegates, nomination awardees, and sponsors, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction and engagement.
  • Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, including delegate acquisitions, nomination award registrations, and sponsorship enrolments.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record in business development or sales, with a demonstrated ability to exceed targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with a passion for driving business growth.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
Compensation:

This is a freelance position with a commission-based compensation structure: 10-20% per successfully acquired delegate, nomination award, or sponsorship.
