About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and business-minded Executive Chef to lead our culinary operations. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Continental cuisine, proven leadership experience, and the ability to balance culinary creativity with financial responsibility. Experience in vegan food preparation will be an added advantage.


Key Responsibilities

Lead all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, consistency, and innovation.

Develop and execute creative, seasonal menus with a focus on Continental cuisine and vegan-friendly options.

Manage the kitchen P&L (Profit & Loss), including food costs, labor costs, budgeting, and profitability.

Implement cost controls while maintaining high culinary standards.

Oversee procurement, vendor management, and inventory control.

Ensure strict compliance with hygiene, sanitation, and food safety regulations.

Recruit, train, and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a culture of excellence.

Collaborate with management to create a world-class dining experience.


Requirements

Culinary degree or equivalent qualification.

10+ years of experience in Continental cuisine, with at least 5 years in a leadership role (Sous Chef/Executive Chef).

Strong understanding of kitchen P&L management, food costing, and budget control.

Experience in vegan food preparation and menu adaptation preferred.

Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Creativity with flavors and ability to innovate based on customer preferences.
