We are seeking a dynamic
Key Account Executive – Higher Education US
to strengthen our relationships with universities, colleges, and research institutions. The role focuses on driving adoption, expanding engagement, and ensuring long-term success of higher education clients. You will act as a trusted advisor, helping institutions leverage QuestionPro for academic research, institutional effectiveness, student engagement, and faculty-led projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development
- Hunting new Business - reach out to more and more target customers
- Build strong pipelines by identifying new opportunities within Higher Education.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Research Services, Customer Success) to deliver tailored solutions.
- Handle both inbound & outbound sales
Strategic Advisory
- Advise universities on best practices for survey research, student feedback, and academic data collection.
- Represent QuestionPro at higher education events, conferences, and webinars.
- Contribute to thought leadership by sharing insights, case studies, and success stories with clients.
Account Management & Growth
- Manage and grow strategic university and higher education accounts across US.
- Develop strong, long-term client relationships with Vice-Chancellors, Deans, Research Directors, IT leads, and academic staff.
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities (e.g., Research Edition, Communities, Audience, BI dashboards).
Client Engagement & Support
- Act as the primary point of contact for institutional clients, ensuring smooth onboarding, adoption, and ongoing usage.
- Partner with academic clients to understand research goals, survey requirements, and institutional processes.
- Support clients through compliance and governance processes (e.g., GDPR, FERPA, IRB).
Desired Skills & Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education Management, or related field (Master's preferred).
- Previous Sales experience in international market US/EMEA is preferred
- Min 1-2 years of experience in SAAS based roles, B2B Sales, Account Management, or Higher Education Partnerships.
- Strong understanding of academic research workflows, institutional surveys, or SaaS/EdTech platforms.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage complex accounts with multiple stakeholders.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (GDPR, FERPA, IRB processes) is a strong plus.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and results-driven with a consultative mindset.
