Role Description
We are seeking a Technical Support Executive – VOIP Telecommunication to join our team and contribute to our telecommunications infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional English communication skills, both verbal and written. The role involves providing technical support, troubleshooting, and maintaining telecommunications systems, ensuring smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
·      Install, configure, and maintain telecom systems and desk phones (Yealink, Polycom, Fanvil, Grandstream, cloud PBX, Freepbx, asterisk , freeswitch, 3cx, ring central.), including VoIP systems, PBX software, and networking equipment.
·      Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to telecommunications systems, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
·      Provide technical support to customers, both remotely and on-site, addressing inquiries and resolving problems in a timely manner.
·      Collaborate with internal teams to implement telecom solutions tailored to customers' needs and requirements.
·      Document procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for future reference and knowledge sharing.
·      Assist in the training of end-users on telecom systems, desk phones and their features.
·      Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in telecom technology to recommend improvements and enhancements.
·      Troubleshooting: Diagnose problems and offer solutions to help customers resolve issues
·      Customer support: Manage customer interactions and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
·      Technical data analysis: Analyse and compare technical data and specifications
·      Customer support documentation: Maintain a database of support ticket information
Requirements
·      Experience working with remote teams. Work experience with USA and or Canada business is a big plus.
·      1-3 years’ experience of working in L1/L2 support teams providing end-user (retail/commercial) support.
·      A diploma or degree in engineering or a related field, with a focus on telecommunications or computer science.
·      1-3 years of relevant industry experience in telecom, VoIP, desk phones and similar technologies.
·      Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and internal teams.
·      Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer care.
·      Familiarity with telecom software, such as Open PBX, PBX Ware, or Bicom systems, is highly desirable.
·      Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently, with a problem-solving mindset.
·      Flexibility to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
·      Time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
·      Availability to work in EST time zone and accommodate flexible working hours as needed.
