Job Overview:
Cult Sport, a leading brand in sports footwear and apparel, is seeking an experienced Institutional Sales Manager to drive business growth through government tenders, GeM portal, institutional distributors, and defense and police canteens. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in institutional sales and a deep understanding of the sportswear market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and secure business opportunities through government tenders, including those on the GeM portal.
- Build and maintain relationships with institutional distributors to promote Cult Sport's footwear and apparel products.
- Develop and manage sales pipelines with key government institutions, including army and police canteens.
- Drive institutional sales performance by meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Ensure strong product visibility and presence in government and institutional channels.
- Stay informed of industry trends, government policies, and tender opportunities to maximize sales potential.
- Collaborate with the internal sales and marketing teams to align strategies with business objectives.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Demonstrated experience in institutional sales, particularly with government tenders, GeM portal, or institutional distributors.
- Preference given to candidates with a background in sports footwear brands.
- Strong knowledge of government procurement processes and institutional sales dynamics.
- Proven success in meeting and exceeding institutional sales targets.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
