Job Summary: The Geospatial division within Trimble Inc. is Transforming The Way the World Works with the development of next-generation technologies that enable surveyors, geodetic engineers, architects and geospatial professionals to increase ease of use and value Geospatial field capture data in land, building, utilities, road & rail, and infrastructure workflows. We are looking for a highly motivated sales professional with a good understanding of the Construction, GIS, and Survey industry, who will implement the regional GTM strategy for growing the Product Line. The Sales Manager will be responsible for Business Development and Sales across the region. He/she will be the key interface with the customer and will be responsible for building and executing the Business plan and carrying a sales target. Key Responsibilities: He/she is accountable for the development and execution of sales plans and the achievement of defined goals for a particular product line, including Advanced Survey products like Total Station, GNSS products within the Geospatial Division. Addressing the Geodetic & Geotechnical Monitoring for different infrastructure/building projects is a key requirement. This individual is responsible for providing direction, hands-on coaching and specific guidance to the distribution network also. He/ she will work directly with the customers/distributors and build the sales pipeline across different industry segments, including Construction, Survey and Infrastructure, etc. to achieve sales targets. He/she will showcase Trimble Technology and bridge the requirements of the client with the Trimble offerings. Prepare weekly and monthly sales forecasts for the product line and maintain the sales pipeline. Regional travelling is expected around (50%-75%) for product demonstrations, presentations and participation in events. Minimum Qualifications: BE/BS degree in a survey/geodetic technical and/or engineering, and/or business development field. Post-Graduation in the Marketing stream will be an added advantage. In lieu of an unrelated academic background, industry experience is also considered. Field sales experience in the same field is a plus. Minimum 10 years in Sales Management experience in the Construction industry with extensive distribution and multiple channel experience. Working knowledge of surveying workflows and software for various applications. Experience developing and maintaining Key Account relationships. Self-motivated, sense of urgency to plan, execute various activities to engage customers on solutions. Understands customer and market segmentation. Proficient knowledge on product and applications. Key knowledge of served markets and industries. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Skills: Working experience in survey engineering, infrastructure & construction engineering, Geodetic Monitoring, Geotechnical sensors integration in Monitoring.
