Job Description:

The Regional Manager will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of sales and operations within the designated region. The Regional Manager plays a pivotal role in the success of our company by leading and managing operations within their designated region. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a proven track record of achieving results. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the sales team,

cross-functional departments, and senior management to develop and execute strategies that drive revenue growth and ensure customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the sales team within the region, setting clear goals and objectives aligned with company targets.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to expand market share and achieve sales targets in the region.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the sales team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and threats, and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and finance, to ensure alignment and support for regional initiatives.
  • Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics, and other relevant data to track progress and make data-driven decisions.
  • Conduct regular meetings, performance reviews, and training sessions with the sales team to ensure high performance and professional development. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback to team members to drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards within the region.
  • Manage the regional budget, resources, and expenses effectively, optimizing cost efficiency and ROI.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings, promoting our brand and fostering new business relationships.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. MBA or equivalent preferred.
  • Proven experience in sales management or regional management, with 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong leadership abilities with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a focus on driving business growth and profitability.
  • Deep understanding of the Metrology market, including trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Proficiency in sales CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools.
  • Ability to travel within the region and occasionally nationally as needed.
  • Fluency in multiple languages relevant to the region.
