Position Summary

We seek a motivated, entrepreneurial mindset HR Generalist to join our India team. The HR Generalist will play a crucial role in building the regional HR department’s daily operations from inception and ensuring the effective implementation of HR policies and procedures. This role involves a broad range of HR responsibilities, from recruitment and employee relations to performance management and compliance.

 

This is a Greenfields role suited to someone who wants to translate their mid-career experience into a trans-Pacific boutique environment


Salary: 6-10 LPA

 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment and Onboarding:

·      Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, vacancy budgets, and reference checks.

·      Conduct new employee orientations and ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires.

2. Employee Relations:

·      Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing support and guidance as needed.

·      Foster a positive and inclusive work environment through effective communication and employee engagement initiatives.

3.HR Administration:

·      Maintain accurate and up to date employee records and HR databases.

·      Prepare and manage HR documents, including employment contracts, employee handbooks, and policy updates.

·      Cross reference Australian HR assets to ensure appropriate compatibility to avoid duplication.

4.Performance Management:

·      Support the performance appraisal process by coordinating review schedules and assisting managers with performance documentation.

·      Work closely with regional Leads to support with a wide range of staffing issues.

·      Help identify training and development needs and coordinate relevant programs.

5.Compliance and Reporting:

·      Ensure compliance with local labour laws and company policies.

·      Prepare and submit regular HR reports to the CEO and senior management.

6.Other Duties:

·      Assist with payroll processing and benefits administration as needed.

·      Participate in special HR projects and initiatives to support the company’s strategic goals.


Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3.5 to 8 years of experience in an HR role, preferably in a technology company or similar fast-growing industry. Experience with multinational companies will be an advantage.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of regional HR best practices and employment laws.
