Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Sales Manager to lead our sales team in Chennai, with a specific focus on EdTech sales strategies. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of experience in software sales, including at least 1 year of experience managing a team. Experience in the EdTech sector is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team sales targets.

- Develop and implement effective sales strategies tailored to the SaaS market to drive revenue growth and expand our market presence in Northeastern United States region.

- Drive the team with critical sales strategies to target companies in specific regions and niche markets in the Lab informatics solution sector.

- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for the sales team and monitor performance against these metrics.

- Identify and engage with potential clients in the lab informatics sector, understand their needs, and present appropriate software solutions.

- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and stay updated on industry trends, particularly in the USA region.

- Maintain a thorough understanding of our software products and services, with a focus on their application in healthcare and other related sectors.

- Identify potential risks in the sales process and develop mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity.

- Regularly communicate with executive leadership and stakeholders to provide updates on sales performance and strategic initiatives.

- Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.

- Work closely with the marketing and product development teams to align sales strategies with business goals.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.

- Contribute to the development of the company's overall sales strategy and long-term business Overall, 3-8 years of experience in software sales, with at least 1 year of managerial experience. Experience in EdTech sales is highly preferred.

- Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Education, or a related discipline.

- Excellent leadership, adaptability, critical thinking, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Familiarity with software solutions and the ability to understand technical concepts.
