Job Description: State Head
Location - Chennai
Experience: 8-9 Broad responsibilities will lie with operations excellence, effective team management, and Business P&L Management.
We are looking for a resource who should be able to understand the Bus industry as a whole (which includes Operator supply, Agent network, Local behaviors of bus - ground transportation).
- He will work to establish our IntrCity - Smart bus brand in the territory / zone and build a network of bus operations, Agent's network and work towards brand visibility for generating tickets for IntrCity buses.
- Candidates will take care of Boarding and Retail sales through the Travel agents and Touts / Walk-ins along with the managing boarding procedure.
- Should be up to date with the market knowledge of intercity bus travel and ensure that all opportunities to grow market share are tapped for buses running in assigned territory.
- Should be comfortable with field roles as local travel will be required along with occasional outstation travel.
- Characteristic of the candidate: Responsible for recruitment and training for Bus captains and other allied staff for bus operations.
- Build a team / workforce high on integrity and ethics as DNA Build systems and processes to take care of daily bus operations escalations with speed and accuracy. Data-based decision IntrCity Smart Bus:
