Yactraq's client Quantum Alchemy is a Canadian Bitcoin Mining software and services business specializing in two core areas:
- Energy cost recovery solutions for industrial sectors such as farms, factories, and buildings, utilizing waste heat from bitcoin mining operations.
- BTC mining data center management software, enabling efficient and optimized management of mining operations.
Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Business Development Manager - Bitcoin Mining. The role involves day-to-day tasks related to developing and implementing strategies to drive business growth within the Bitcoin mining sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the logistical coordination and operational tasks associated with our current fleet of bitcoin miners.
- Pre-Sales Tech Support: Develop, maintain, and analyze comprehensive solutions including detailed Excel spreadsheets for a variety of business use cases, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
- Assist the CEO in managing executive communications, including scheduling, meeting preparation, and follow-up.
- Contribute to marketing initiatives, including market research, campaign development, and client outreach.
- Support cost accounting functions, including expense tracking, budgeting, and variance analysis.
- Provide insights into financial and operational performance, offering recommendations for improvements in efficiency and profitability.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Bitcoin mining industry trends and technologies
- Proven experience in business development and sales
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients in the cryptocurrency sector
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
- Previous experience in the blockchain or cryptocurrency industry is a plus
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a related field of Business or Engineering.
- Proficiency in MS Office, including data analysis, reporting, formula building & presentations.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in handling technical, financial and operational data.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Experience:
- Background in business development, with experience in the cryptocurrency, computer industry or financial technology sectors.
- Familiarity with CRM software and marketing processes.
