Senior Manager - Martech

Reports to: Head - Marketing
Experience Required: 7-10 years in Martech, Technical SEO, or Growth Engineering roles, preferably in fintech, app-first, or high-scale web businesses.
Role Overview:
We're looking for a Senior Manager - Martech who can seamlessly bridge the gap between marketing goals and technology execution. In this role, you will own the technical enablement of SEO, automate scalable content/page deployments, and ensure that all web and app martech systems are delivering against key performance indicators (KPIs) like speed, crawlability, indexability, and conversion efficiency.
This is a hybrid technical-marketing leadership role, ideal for someone who understands both the technical SEO stack and the marketing funnel impact of scalable automation.
Key Responsibilities:
SEO Automation & Page Deployment:
- Lead end-to-end automation of SEO landing page creation and go-live processes via CMS, feeds, or low-code solutions.
- Ensure that newly deployed pages meet all SEO best practices - including metadata, schema markup, site structure, and mobile-first indexing.
- Collaborate with content, SEO, and engineering teams to create scalable templates and backend workflows.
Web & App Technical Health:
- Own and maintain web and app performance KPIs including Core Web Vitals, crawlability, indexation rates, loading speed, and structured data health.
- Continuously audit and optimize HTML structure, canonicalization, internal linking, sitemap logic, and robots.txt.
- Lead projects around AMP, PWA readiness, and app-web deep linking to improve user and bot experience.
Martech Stack Ownership:
- Own configuration, deployment, and hygiene of Martech platforms including:
- Tag Managers (GTM), CDPs (e.g., Segment), MMPs (AppsFlyer), Analytics Tools (GA4, Firebase), CRM tools (MoEngage/WebEngage).
- Work closely with internal developers and vendors to deploy and validate event tracking, UTMs, pixels, and structured event schemas.
- Support marketing teams with automated campaign tracking setups and tech-integrated attribution models.
A/B Testing & Growth Experimentation:
- Enable and run server-side and client-side testing infrastructure for website and app journey optimization.
- Partner with SEO and product teams to validate performance uplift from structural and content changes.
Cross-Functional Coordination:
- Act as a tech SPOC for Growth, SEO, Content, Product, and Analytics teams.
- Drive marketing-tech project planning with internal engineering and external vendors.
- Ensure GDPR, privacy, and compliance adherence across all tracking and martech deployments.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 7-10 years of experience in Martech, Technical SEO, Web Performance Optimization, or Growth Engineering.
- Strong working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, JSON-LD, and APIs relevant to SEO and tracking.
- Hands-on experience with tools/platforms like GTM, GA4, Firebase, Screaming Frog, Search Console, AppsFlyer, SEMrush, Lighthouse, and Web Vitals APIs.
- Proven experience automating large-scale SEO/landing page rollouts via CMS, headless CMS, or custom frameworks.
- Familiarity with app + web event tagging, tracking plans, and mobile deep linking (Firebase Dynamic Links or Branch.io).
- Excellent cross-functional communication and project management skills.
