Reports to: Head - Marketing

Experience Required: 5-8 years in digital governance, regulatory marketing compliance, or communications review in BFSI, fintech, or regulated industries.

Role Overview:

Were seeking a Manager Digital Assurance to govern and monitor all digital communications, assets, and user experiences across web, app, and marketing channels, ensuring they comply with RBI guidelines, internal digital policies, App Store norms, and dark pattern regulations. This role is critical to building consumer trust, avoiding regulatory friction, and upholding ethical standards in all Stashfin digital interactions.

Key & Content Governance:

- Review and approve all digital communication (push notifications, emails, in-app banners, WhatsApp, SMS, landing pages) to ensure compliance with RBI circulars and marketing guidelines.

- Maintain a centralized approval workflow for all customer-facing messages, ensuring accuracy, disclaimers, and tone of voice.

- Collaborate with content and design teams to enforce communication standards.

Policy & Regulatory Alignment:

- Stay updated with latest RBI digital lending guidelines, data privacy norms, Fair Practices Code (FPC), dark pattern regulations, and ensure timely implementation across customer journeys.

- Govern compliance with Google Play, Apple App Store, and app review policies for all feature releases and marketing flows.

- Act as the primary marketing liaison with Legal, Risk, and Compliance teams.

Dark Pattern Prevention & Ethical Design:

- Audit app/web journeys regularly to identify and flag UI/UX practices that may be construed as dark patterns, misleading CTAs, or non-transparent flows.

- Partner with product and UX teams to create trust-centric journeys, especially around pricing, fees, consents, opt-outs, and cancellations.

Digital Policy Documentation & Controls:

- Maintain a Digital Marketing Compliance Playbook, documenting standard practices, approval checklists, and past violations/alerts.

- Support internal audits and regulatory inspections by maintaining logs of marketing communications and their approvals.

- Educate internal stakeholders on new policies via training and toolkits.

Monitoring & Reporting:

- Monitor app and web journeys (and releases) to preemptively identify compliance risks.

- Report monthly on governance gaps, violations, and resolution timelines.

- Support UAT and release cycles by reviewing communications embedded in new flows.

Qualifications & Skills:

- 5-8 years of experience in digital marketing compliance, policy governance, or regulatory assurance, preferably in fintech, NBFC, or BFSI.

- Working knowledge of RBI guidelines (especially around digital lending), dark pattern frameworks, and App Store/Play Store content regulations.

- Strong attention to detail and familiarity with UX journeys, user-facing communications, and disclaimer management.

- Excellent stakeholder management skills, including coordination with Legal, Tech, Product, and Content teams.

- Strong documentation and reporting skills.

- Bonus: Exposure to internal audit, ISO/PCI-DSS policy frameworks, or public regulatory submissions.
