Description:To drive and manage regional sales operations for the Western region, starting with Maharashtra, ensuring volume growth, distribution expansion, and strong trade relationships while leading a high-performing team.Key Responsibilities:Sales & Distribution:- Drive primary and secondary sales targets across the region.- Ensure consistent availability and visibility of products in all key markets.- Achieve volume objectives Salt: 1200 MT; Atta: 150 MT per month (approx.).Market Expansion:- Identify, appoint, and onboard new distributors across key geographies.- Strengthen relationships with trade partners and channel stakeholders.- Expand retail reach and improve market penetration.Team Leadership:- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of 2 ASMs and 3 Sales Officers.- Build and scale the team structure in line with business growth.- Ensure performance tracking, review, and capability development.Data & Performance Analysis:- Analyze sales data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities.- Monitor competitor activities and market dynamics.- Provide actionable insights to drive business decisions.Supply Chain & Operations Coordination:- Work closely with the supply chain and logistics teams for seamless product availability.- Optimize distribution efficiency and minimize stock-outs or Must be open to travel 1520 days per month across the region.Candidate Profile:- Graduate/MBA with 1015 years of experience in FMCG sales, preferably in the staples segment (Salt, Atta, or similar categories).- Strong understanding of value chain operations from procurement to last-mile delivery.- Proven expertise in trade relationship management and distributor network expansion.
