Role Overview

As an Area Sales Manager (On-Field Sales), you will be responsible for driving B2B sales, building strong relationships, and expanding our footprint across Pune. The role involves frequent local visits, managing key accounts, and promoting our premium interior hardware range to dealers, showrooms, OEMs, architects, and interior designers.


Key Responsibilities

1 ️Sales Visits

• Conduct regular visits to retail outlets, showrooms, OEMs, and distributors in Pune.

• Present and promote products to architects, designers, and key decision-makers.

• Identify new business opportunities and close deals effectively.

• Negotiate pricing and terms while ensuring high customer satisfaction.

2 ️Payment & Collections

• Monitor outstanding payments and ensure timely collections.

• Coordinate with the finance team for reconciliation and billing queries.

• Maintain healthy receivables and support cash flow improvements.

3 ️Relationship Management

• Build and sustain long-term relationships with architects, designers, and trade partners.

• Attend local trade fairs, exhibitions, and networking events.

• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless client service.

4 ️Market Intelligence

• Stay updated with local market trends, competitor activity, and new developments.

• Provide market feedback and suggest strategies for business growth.

• Identify potential business segments and recommend expansion ideas.

5 ️Sales Reporting

• Maintain accurate CRM records for visits, leads, and client interactions.

• Prepare weekly/monthly reports and forecasts.

• Analyze sales performance and share insights for improvement.


Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).

Minimum 3+ years of B2B sales experience in modular kitchens, laminates, interior fittings, or architectural hardware industries.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

• Proven track record of achieving sales targets.

Strong network with architects, interior designers, dealers, and OEMs in Pune.

• Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools.

• Self-driven, result-oriented, and strategic thinker.

• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be open to local travel.
