Overview
Under the direction of theHRIS Function Manager for Reporting, the HRIS Reporting Analystconcentrating on developing and designing employment relatedreporting solutions and data analytics to create efficiencies,assist, and meet regulatory requirements for Human Resources,Compliance and Legal teams.
How you'll make animpact
- Acting as primary contact for Oracle Analytics Cloud(OAC) and Oracle HCM analytics, consulting with internal customersto create requirements for new reports, report changes, and datarequests and developing reports and dashboards in OAC andOTBI.
- Leading reportingfunction for core HRprojects.
- Facilitating functional compliance, data integrity orother related HR strategic analysis, surfacing opportunities forimprovement or corrective action to various HR leaders and trackingongoing improvements ortrends.
- Developing or translating requirements to technicaldevelopers.
- Performing first level issue analysis for potentialissues; and testing and validating results against data andcustomer requirements.
- Developing and maintaining dashboards that will helpanswer key strategic workforce analytics-based questions, includingkey performanceindicators.
- Training and educating users on related reports andefficient use.
- Recommending process improvements for reporting team andexternal processes impacting theteam.
- Performing data integrity or other related HR strategicanalysis.
- Mayprovide guidance to lower level staff but has no formal supervisoryresponsibility.
Aboutyou
- Bachelor’sdegree
- Minimum 5 years experience building and testing reportsin Business Intelligence/visualizationapplications.
- Humanresources process and/or dataexperience.
- Proven strength and experience utilizing variousreporting tools and MS Excel for variety of data analysisneeds.
- Proficient in MS Office applications including Word &PowerPoint.
- Oracle Analytics Cloud and Oracle Transactional BusinessIntelligence experience.
- Extensive Oracle HCM process and dataexperience.
- Technical creativity. Ability to identify, analyzeand, summarize data in order to solutionproblems.
- Analytical Skills - Collecting information from diversesources, applying professional principles in performing variousanalyses; summarizing the information and data in order to solveproblems. This includes expertise in mining data and standardmethods of analysis.
- Attention to Detail - pays close attention to details,surfaces issues along with suggestions for corrective action,continuously checks processes or tasks for quality, tests andvalidates results against core data or customer requirements toensure quality andaccuracy.
- Excellent Critical Thinking - Identifying andunderstanding issues, problems, and opportunities; comparing datafrom different sources to draw conclusions; using effectiveapproaches for choosing a course of action or developingappropriate solutions; taking action that is consistent withavailable facts, constraints, and probableconsequences.
