Job Role & Responsibilities:


Sales Leadership & Team Management:

  • Lead and manage the regional sales team, including Sales Representatives, Channel Partners, and Distributors.
  • Set clear sales goals, KPIs, and performance expectations for the team to ensure targets are met and exceeded.
  • Provide training, mentorship, and coaching to the sales team, ensuring continuous development of their product knowledge and sales skills.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and implement corrective actions when needed to improve individual and team performance.


Sales Strategy & Market Penetration:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for solar energy products (solar inverters, batteries, and solar power solutions) in the northwestern region.
  • Identify new market opportunities and untapped customer segments, including residential, commercial, and industrial solar solutions.
  • Drive business expansion through existing and new partnerships with EPC contractors, system integrators, solar installers, and other key stakeholders.
  • Plan and execute regional sales campaigns and promotional activities within the region to increase brand visibility and product adoption.


Customer Relationship Management:

  • Establish and maintain long-term relationships with key customers, including distributors, installers, and large-scale commercial and industrial clients.
  • Understand customer needs and provide tailored solar energy solutions to ensure optimal customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Address customer concerns, resolve issues, and ensure that post-sales support is delivered efficiently.
  • Foster customer loyalty by offering consistent follow-up and ensuring that customers are well-informed about product features, benefits, and services.


Market Intelligence & Competitor Analysis:

  • Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activity to identify emerging opportunities and threats.
  • Conduct detailed market analysis to assess customer behavior, pricing trends, and product demand in the northwestern region.
  • Provide feedback to the product management team regarding customer preferences and potential areas for improvement or product development.


Sales Forecasting & Reporting:

  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts and projections for the northwestern region, identifying key opportunities and potential risks.
  • Provide regular sales reports to senior management, including performance metrics, pipeline status, and strategic initiatives.
  • Monitor sales data and key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring timely follow-up and course corrections when necessary to achieve targets.


Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to design and execute regional campaigns, product promotions, and events that support sales growth.
  • Work closely with the technical and product teams to ensure alignment between product offerings and market demands.
  • Partner with the logistics and supply chain teams to ensure the timely availability of products and smooth product deliveries to customers.
  • Coordinate with service and support teams to ensure that customers receive post-sales assistance and ensure customer delight.


Sales Events & Industry Networking:

  • Represent the company at regional trade shows, exhibitions, seminars, and conferences to promote products and build industry relationships.
  • Organize product demos, technical sessions, and educational seminars for partners and customers to enhance product knowledge and brand visibility.
  • Foster relationships with key industry players, government bodies, and industry associations to build credibility and identify new business opportunities.


Experience & Skills:


  • A Minimum of 7+ years of sales experience in the solar, energy, or power electronics industry, with at least 3+ years in a managerial role.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth in the solar energy sector, including experience with solar inverters, batteries, and energy storage systems.
  • In-depth understanding of the solar market in West India and familiarity with the region's regulatory environment, key players, and customer needs.


Educational Qualification


  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA will be an added advantage for the right candidate.
