Job Summary
We are seeking an accomplished and results-oriented Sales Head to lead our sales efforts in leasing and direct sales of IT hardware and non-IT products. The role requires expertise in sales management, team leadership, and a strong understanding of the equipment leasing market with the flexibility to pivot to direct sales when required. The ideal candidate will excel in driving revenue, developing sales strategies, and building long-term customer relationships while mentoring a high-performing sales team.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement innovative sales strategies to drive both leasing and direct sales of IT and non-IT hardware.
- Align strategies with customer needs to maximize market opportunities.
Team Leadership
- Build, manage, and mentor a dynamic sales and marketing team.
- Foster a culture of excellence and accountability to meet and exceed company goals.
Sales Performance Management
- Regularly monitor and analyze sales metrics.
- Evaluate team performance and refine strategies for consistent growth and profitability.
Channel Development
- Identify and expand new sales channels, markets, and partnerships.
- Drive growth in untapped markets to diversify revenue streams.
Customer Acquisition & Retention
- Lead initiatives to attract new customers while ensuring superior servicing for existing clients.
- Build strong, long-term client relationships to secure repeat business.
Leasing & Direct Sales Expertise
- Leverage knowledge of IT and non-IT hardware to promote equipment leasing.
- Offer direct sales solutions tailored to customers who prefer buying over leasing.
Financial Acumen
- Align sales strategies with financial objectives, including revenue forecasting and cost management.
- Utilize basic finance principles to achieve organizational profitability goals.
Product Knowledge
- Stay updated on IT hardware and non-IT products to ensure informed and impactful customer presentations.
Requirements
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record in IT hardware sales or equipment leasing.
Skills
- Expertise in sales management, customer acquisition, and retention.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation abilities.
- Familiarity with finance concepts related to budgeting and forecasting.
Knowledge
- In-depth understanding of IT hardware and non-IT products.
- Knowledge of equipment leasing markets and ability to pivot to direct sales.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related fields.
- MBA preferred.
