About the Role:
The Manager of Marketplace E-commerce will be responsible for managing and driving the company’s growth and presence across various online marketplaces (such as Amazon, Flipkart, and others) in India. This role involves overseeing all aspects of e-commerce marketplace operations, from developing and executing sales strategies to optimizing product listings and enhancing customer engagement. The Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to maximize visibility, profitability, and customer satisfaction in the highly competitive Home appliance sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Marketplace Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and execute a strategic plan for growth on key marketplaces, including Amazon, Flipkart, and other relevant e-commerce platforms.
- Conduct competitive analysis, identify trends, and use insights to optimize product positioning.
- Create annual, quarterly, and monthly sales plans to meet growth objectives and drive profitability.

- Implement measures to reduce stockouts, overstock situations, and optimize fulfillment strategies.

Requirements
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
- 5-8 years of experience in e-commerce, specifically in marketplace management for consumer goods or kitchen appliances.
- Proven track record of driving sales growth and managing P&L for products on marketplaces.
- Strong knowledge of e-commerce best practices, SEO, and digital marketing in a B2C environment.
- Proficiency in using marketplace tools like Amazon Seller Central, Flipkart Seller Hub, and third-party analytics tools.
- Excellent analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing industry dynamics.
