Overview:The BusinessDevelopment Executive (BDE) in Edtech Sales plays a crucial role indriving the growth of the organization by identifying generatingand closing new business opportunities within the educationtechnology sector. The BDE will be responsible for designing andimplementing strategic sales plans building and maintaining clientrelationships and achieving revenuetargets.KeyResponsibilities:
  • Identify and pursuenew business opportunities within the Edtechsector.
  • Develop and execute strategic salesplans to achieve and exceed salestargets.
  • Establish and nurture relationshipswith key decisionmakers in educationalinstitutions.
  • Conduct market research toidentify trends competitive offerings and potential newmarkets.
  • Create compelling sales pitches andpresentations to effectively communicate the value proposition toclients.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements toclose business deals.
  • Provide accurate salesforecasts and reports tomanagement.
  • Collaborate with marketing andproduct teams to align sales strategies with productofferings.
  • Attend industry events conferencesand trade shows to build a network and generateleads.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and bestpractices in Edtech sales.
RequiredQualifications:
  • Bachelors degree inBusiness Administration Marketing or a relatedfield.
  • Proven track record of successful salesexperience in the Edtech industry.
  • Demonstratedability to meet and exceed salestargets.
  • Excellent communication andnegotiation skills.
  • Strong understanding of theeducation technology market.
  • Ability to buildand maintain longterm clientrelationships.
  • Proficiency in using CRMsoftware to manage sales pipeline andactivities.
  • Strategic thinking andresultoriented mindset.
  • Ability to workindependently and as part of ateam.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetingsand industry events.
