About the Role

VE3 is seeking a highly motivated Presales Technical Consultant with a strong passion for technology and a drive to excel in technology services sales. In this role, you will provide expert technical consultation and support the sales team in selling software development and cloud solutions. You will engage with clients across various sectors, including Fortune 2000 companies, Mid-Market, and startups, driving business growth and achieving sales goals. This role combines technical expertise with sales acumen, making it ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.



Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  1. Technical Consultation: Provide expert guidance on software product development and cloud solutions, focusing on AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, and other platforms.
  2. RFP Management: Lead and manage responses to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs, ensuring submissions are timely, accurate, and align with client needs.
  3. Solution Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and propose cloud-based solutions tailored to customer requirements, leveraging in-depth knowledge of cloud technologies.
  4. Sales Engagement: Work directly with the sales team to close deals, managing the entire sales process from prospecting to negotiation and closing, with a focus on generating new business.
  5. Client Interaction: Engage with clients to understand their technical and business needs, present tailored solutions, and conduct demonstrations and presentations to C-level executives.
  6. Strategic Sales Development: Develop and manage overall sales strategies, metrics, and processes to meet and exceed sales targets.
  7. Partnership Development: Collaborate with the executive team to identify and build strategic alliances, supporting major customers and enhancing business relationships.
  8. Thought Leadership: Represent VE3 at customer meetings, partner events, and industry conferences, positioning the company as a leader in digital transformation.
  9. Team Collaboration and Development: Contribute to the development of solutions and offerings, mentor junior team members, and foster a collaborative, high-performance culture.
  10. Travel: Willingness to travel locally and outstation as needed to meet business objectives.

 

Skills and Qualifications

  1. Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; a B.Tech/MCA with an MBA is preferred.
  2. Technical Expertise: Extensive knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud) and software development. Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Google Professional Cloud Architect) are highly desirable.
  3. Experience: At least 3+ years of experience in a cloud presales or technical consultant role, with a strong track record in responding to RFPs and delivering technical sales support.
  4. Communication Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with experience in presenting to senior executives and tailoring messages to diverse audiences.
  5. Sales Acumen: Demonstrated ability to build strong executive relationships, navigate complex sales cycles, and achieve quota in a competitive environment.
  6. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to develop creative solutions that meet client needs.
  7. Business Development: Experience in identifying and developing new business opportunities, managing sales strategies, and driving revenue growth.
