We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President II - Service Delivery General Management to join our GTA – Global Transfer Agency, Alternative Investment Services business team. This role is located in Chennai, TN – HYBRID.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Manages a small to medium Fund administration team that handles any/all aspects of client accounts, including solicitation, inquiries, transactional processing, and problem resolution.
- Manages the daily transactional workflow within the team and aligns team resources accordingly to complete the daily tasks through other managers or professionals.
- Contributes to the achievement of business objectives and develop business plan for team/group operations.
- Ensures the volume of work produced meets product/service standards and exceeds quality standards and is properly reviewed and documented.
- Work closely with our Operational colleagues, the Service Delivery Management team and Engineering to ensure we improve processes and find new ways to enhance client experience.
- Manages team in working with internal and external auditors to ensure they have information to conduct audits in an efficient manner.
- Recruits, directs, motivates, and develops staff, maximizing their individual contribution, professional development, and ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- 12-17 years of work experience required in banking industry preferably in Transfer Agency - Alternatives, Fund Accounting - Alternatives domain.
- Minimum experience of 3-5 years in managing people.
- Ability to work under pressure meeting challenging deadlines.
- Strong leadership skills
