As part of this Role, we are seeking a highly experienced production Support Lead to join our growing team. In this senior role, you will be responsible to provide global support for Sustainability Technology Application
and ensuring application and infrastructure is meeting the highest standards of reliability and ensuring zero downtime operation

Your key responsibilities

Leading a team of support professionals Ensure all supports and management processes are in compliant with bank’s standard procedures, and ensuring a robust and stable production environment is maintained. Coordinate with regional/global application team for incident management as per the defined process Monitor and review applications production alerts, and to take appropriate actions, if necessary. Manage production incident involving application supported and perform necessary communications & escalations to stakeholders. Promote more adaptive, responsive and agile functions aimed towards a stable Production environment. Change Management, Version Control/Incident management/Capacity Management Documentation of Application support Procedures Liaise with various IT teams (both application and infrastructure) for any crisis which impacts application production environment and its Infrastructure. Review and implement proper backup/restore/retention procedures for application data Support all server / database patching. Participate and support DR planning and execution. Create a culture of SRE within the team and work with the SRE expert to increase reliability and improve monitoring

Your skills and experience

10+ years’ experience of Developer with an inclination to solve production problems/ experience in production support of systems in a complex environment Good SQL , Python and Unix knowledge Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving skills Analytical skills, structured approach, attention to details.  High discipline and stress resistance; ability to take ownership of tasks up to full completion. Good understanding of Java Programming Language in which candidate can read and debug code and provide Root cause analysis along with fixing it. Understanding of systems issues related to CPU, Memory, Network, etc. Exposure to any of distributed systems with client server, N-tier architectures, Caching, microservices applications, etc. Good knowledge to Grafana, Splunk, New Relic or other monitoring tools Good knowledge of any scripting language Good knowledge of Software Security (Encryption, SSL, WEB Proxies, PKI, Authentication, Authorization), Error handling, JVM Monitoring, Distributed Systems Monitoring and Logging, Maven/Gradle, Kubernetes and related concepts like Services, Routes, Admin Console, Volumes, Secrets, ConfigMaps Open to work in shifts
