PrimaryResponsibilities

ButlerOperations

  • To superviseButler Supervisors and Butlers on duty
  • Tomaintain the quality and consistency of standard and to train theButlers on improvement areas
  • To concentratesupervision on Floor Butlers Reception Butler Private Dining Butlerand Butler Hotline
  • To increase guestinteraction and to drive the Trust you score of theproperty.
  • To assist the Head Butler inachieving the KPI of the department.
  • To ensurethat all suites and rooms blocked for arrival are prepared on timeprior guest arrival.
  • To push all Butlers tocompile and record guest preferences like and dislikes and to trackit in preference sheet.
  • To ensure througheffective supervision that all services offered are alwaysavailable and provide alternatives
  • Coordinateactivities with other hotel departments in order to facilitateincreased levels of communication and guestsatisfaction.
  • Responsible for promoting hotelfacilities services and product to the targeted guestgroup
  • To assist Head Butler to resolve anyissues.
  • To meet and welcome most of the guestspersonally
  • To interact with guests as much aspossible to ascertain preferences dislikes and overall experiencesat Raffles Udaipur.
  • To regularly inspect thequality of service provided by all Butlers and to ensure that allservices are delivered according to standard
  • Toshare with Head Butler any complaints guests comments andproblems.
  • To take appropriate action to resolveguests complaints (Housekeeping Butlers Front Desk Concierge andLaundry)
  • To assist Front Office DepartmentHousekeeping Department and Food & Beverage Department forany basic requests to give quick and respond service to theguests.
  • To maintain appropriate knowledge aboutlocal area events happening in Udaipur & around theworld
  • To supervise butlerpantries.
  • To check on the in room diningreception & concierge the stockflow.
  • To assist Head Butler for OperatingEquipment inventory
  • Check Butlers grooming inaccordance with hotel standard.
  • Work closelywith Housekeeping to ensure correct room status at alltimes.
  • To handle any DND room within 24hours.
  • Log security incidents and accidents inaccordance with hotel policies andprocedures
  • Ensure all guests are being treatedin an efficient and courteous manner that all Raffles &Accor standards are being applied.
  • To supportthe implementation of Raffles corevalues

TeamManagement

  • Providedepartment orientation and training of the hotel service standardsprocedures and programs
  • Constantly monitor teammembers appearance attitude and degree ofprofessionalism
  • Motivate and provides a workenvironment which brings out the best in teammembers

OtherResponsibilities

  • Maintaincomplete knowledge of all food & beverage services outletsand hotel services/features
  • Be fully conversantwith hotel fire & life safety/emergencyprocedures
  • Attend all briefings meetings andtrainings as assigned by management
  • Report forduty on time wearing clean and complete uniform at alltimes
  • Maintain a high standard of personalappearance and hygiene at all times
  • Performother reasonable duties assigned by the Management of theHotel

Qualifications:

  • Diploma inTourism / Hospitality Management
  • Minimum 2years of relevant experience in a similarcapacity
  • Excellent reading writing and oralproficiency in English language
  • Ability tospeak other languages and basic understanding of local languageswill be an advantage
  • Good working knowledge ofMS Excel Word &PowerPoint
