Job Description – VP Sales (Vidwath)
Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven VP–Sales to lead revenue growth, drive global business development and build strategic partnerships for Vidwath. The ideal candidate should have deep experience in EdTech / Government / Institutional sales and proven experience in building and leading high-performance sales teams. This role will be responsible for defining, executing and scaling the sales strategy across domestic and international markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end sales strategy and revenue delivery for India and International markets.
- Build, coach and lead a high-performing sales team.
- Develop and strengthen relationships with Government bodies, Ministries of Education, NGOs, donor agencies, institutional partners, channel partners and enterprise clients.
- Identify and close large scale institutional deals in education technology solutions, digital transformation, STEM, assessments, AI-led learning platforms, and skill development ecosystems.
- Drive market research, GTM for new markets, global expansions and product positioning.
- Lead proposal development, tender responses, bid management and framework agreements.
- Establish strong sales forecasting, reporting, pipeline management and clear revenue governance.
- Maintain strong alignment with Product, Operations, and Finance to ensure seamless delivery and long-term client success.
Requirements & Qualifications
- 18+ years of progressive experience in EdTech / Institutional / Govt. Sales / International Business.
- Strong track record in building partnerships across Asia / Africa / GCC / South Asia / SEA preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in closing multi-million dollar government or enterprise deals.
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills with the ability to influence CXO and government stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to hire, train, and lead top-performing sales talent.
- Strong techno-commercial understanding and solution-based selling approach.
