Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled
Regional Sales Manager
to lead sales performance, operational efficiency, logistics coordination, and warehouse management within the assigned region. The candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, maintaining strong relationships with customers and distributors, ensuring smooth supply chain operations, and managing inventory flow. This is a strategic yet hands-on role requiring both leadership and field execution skills.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Management
· Identify and approach potential customers to generate new business.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key clients.
· Maintain and grow relationships with existing and new clients and distributors.
· Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets through regular field visits and follow-ups.
· Conduct product demonstrations and participate in local promotions.
· Provide feedback to management regarding customer needs, market trends, and product improvements.
· Conduct regular market visits to maintain visibility and identify new opportunities.
Operations & Logistics Management
· Oversee end-to-end logistics operations to ensure timely product movement.
· Coordinate with transporters, suppliers, and internal teams for smooth delivery cycles.
· Monitor and optimize delivery routes, turnaround time, and operational costs.
· Resolve customer complaints and supply chain challenges efficiently.
Warehouse & Inventory Management
· Supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
· Monitor and manage inventory to ensure accuracy and availability of stock.
· Perform regular stock audits and follow FIFO (First In, First Out) principles.
· Ensure proper documentation for all incoming and outgoing stock.
· Maintain real-time inventory levels and implement best practices for material handling.
· Ensure safety, cleanliness, and quality standards inside the warehouse.
· Lead and support the setup of a new office and warehouse, ensuring smooth infrastructure, operations, and team alignment.
Reporting & Team Management
· Lead and guide warehouse and field teams to meet operational and sales goals.
· Supervise warehouse staff and enforce compliance with company policies.
· Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales, inventory, and operations reports.
· Ensure adherence to company policies, documentation standards, and operational guidelines.
Requirements
· MBA in Sales & Marketing (Regular/Full-Time) from a recognized institution.
· 5–10 years of experience in regional sales, logistics, operations, and warehouse handling.
· Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
· Ability to manage field teams, warehouse staff, and multi-functional operations.
· Proficient in MS Excel, reporting tools, and Google Sheets.
· Must own a two-wheeler or four-wheeler with a valid driving license (if field visits required).
· Willingness to travel extensively across the region.
