As part of our further expansion and growth plans, we are looking to hire an aggressive and dynamic Packaging Material professional for Purchase Executive / Sr Executive

This position is based at our Corporate Office at Nariman Point in Mumbai.

The remuneration package will be commensurate with the incumbents professional experience and will be in line with market standards.

Job Purpose

Support the procurement team in sourcing, negotiating, purchasing, and coordinating the supply of raw materials, intermediates, and solvents for API / Bulk Drugs required for API production, ensuring timely availability and compliance with quality standards.

  • Procurement of raw materials, intermediates, and solvents for API / Bulk Drugs
  • Knowledge on the process of Vendor qualification in Pharmaceutical industry
  • Knowledge on import clearance, LC application, Knowledge of advance license, RODTEP etc.
  • Generate and process Purchase Orders in SAP software.
  • Coordinate with suppliers for quotations, negotiation, and timely delivery.
  • Track and follow up on order status, delivery timelines, and pending shipments.
  • Alternate vendor development and cost optimization activities
  • Work closely with departments such as Operations, finance, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs and logistics. Understand their requirements and ensure alignment. Provide regular updates.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Graduate. Additional qualifications on Supply Chain or any Management course will be preferred.
  • 2- 3 years of experience in procurement, preferably in a pharmaceutical/API manufacturing company.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of raw materials and intermediates sourcing from India as well as Foreign countries
  • Skills: MS Office and SAP systems
  • Good communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
  • Multitasking ability and Time management
